We’re looking for a Plumber’s Assistant on a fixed-term contract to join ateb and support our Heating & Plumbing team to keep our homes safe, warm, and working as they should.  This is a practical, hands-on role. You’ll be out and about, supporting installations, helping fix issues, and making sure work is completed to the right standard.

You will be working in our extra care scheme commercial premises, in individual flats carrying out domestic hot & cold re-piping, using Uponor multilayered pipe & a press machine, so there will be very limited soldering (hot works) being completed, but any experience you may have involving this type of work would be advantageous.

 What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting plumbing and heating work across our homes
• Assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Helping us achieve a first-time fix wherever possible
• Working safely and in line with regulations at all times
• Treating customers’ homes with care and respect

 You’ll need to be reliable, organised, and willing to learn on the job.

Fixed-Term Contract:  to 31st March 2027

Salary: £26,850 per annum
