Could you lead the development of better homes for the future?

We’re looking for a Head of Development to join ateb and take a leading role in shaping our development ambitions across West Wales.

With a salary of £70K – £74K per annum, this is an opportunity to take strategic responsibility for our development programme - identifying new opportunities, building strong partnerships and helping to make sure we develop the right homes, in the right places, for the long-term benefit of our customers and communities.

Working closely with our Executive Director for Development & Assets, you’ll help develop and deliver ateb’s Development Strategy and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities. You’ll build relationships with Welsh Government, Local Authorities, landowners, developers, contractors, consultants, funders and other key partners to help secure the opportunities, funding and investment we need to grow.

You’ll also provide leadership to our Development Team, ensuring we have the capacity, capability and culture to deliver our ambitions.

We’re looking for someone with extensive leadership and management experience in housing, development, regeneration, construction, property or a related sector, with a strong track record of delivering successful development programmes.

You’ll need strong commercial and financial awareness, experience of development appraisal and scheme viability, and the ability to build effective relationships and turn strategic plans into action.

Salary: £70K - 74K per annum
